On a different voice

Work has been real crazy for past few months and now it's holiday time.
Weehoo!

Later folks and don't forget to smell the roses.

Chong Wei ma man, I'm fucking proud of ya. Your jumping smash really kicks ass. Now get us the gold medal.

Godspeed.

I've been reading a handful blogs out there, about politics and what have you. What irked me is everytime I run through the comments, there's always something like this, quote:

"Yeah I'm the first!"

"Wow, I'm the number one to comment"

And some morons even take it to an unfathomable level that goes beyond my comprehension, quote:

"Yeay I'm third"

What is wrong with these people? I don't see to be the first to comment is an achievement that one can be proud of.

And get this, they were not even the first to comment. Haih, ever heard of comments moderation, dumbass?

Congratulations Azhar & Ariza!

Of sharks and women

"People used to look out on the playground and say that the boys were playing soccer and the girls were doing nothing. But the girls weren't doing nothing--they were talking.
They were talking about the world to one another. And they became expert about that in a way the boys did not."
- Carol Gilligan, In a Different Voice: Psychological Theory and Women's Development

You might be asking, why the hell am I reading a book about women psychology. Actually, if you must know, I am not. In fact, it was quoted from a book that I am reading, which is about sharks.

Yeah that's right. Shark is a bad ass creature--and there are a lot of things we could learn from them. So what do sharks and women have in common?

That's for you to find out... (I gotta say, it kinda turned me on tho)

P/S: Go check out this movie/documentary-drama 'Ocean of Fear: Worst Shark Attack Ever'. You won't be disappointed, trust me.
